Over the past 10 years, “A Day For A Life” Charity Golf Tournament has raised over $250,000 which included transforming the ICU waiting room, private family rooms and purchasing specialized surgical instrumentation at Windsor Regional Hospital. We are proud that this area has been aptly named the Trevor Louis Funkenhauser Gift of Life Family Waiting Room. As we've worked to raise these funds, we have also been working hard to raise awareness about organ and tissue donation and have produced a video to help educate others. Organ donor registration rates in this area have improved; however, we have a long way to go related to every individual registering at beadonor.ca. As this is a charity event, we ask for your help in supporting this great cause in the hopes that we can help those who are awaiting an organ donation.
