Saving lives through organ and tissue donation is a team effort. When an organ is deemed suitable for transplant, clinical and non-clinical staff work together to ensure that the process to retrieve organs and tissue that can be safely transplanted to another individual waiting for a transplant is timely and successful. On Thursday, Trillium Gift of Life Network (TGLN) will recognize these efforts by the team at Windsor Regional Hospital through a special award. Representatives from WRH, TGLN and local individuals whose lives have been impacted by transplant will speak and share their experiences.
