November 1-7 is Patient Transport Services Week to thank the individuals who assist in patient movement and flow throughout the hospital. There are 100 porters at Windsor Regional Hospital who perform 21,000 tasks per month. They are responsible for transporting patients to/from in house appointments, transferring patients from unit to unit and transporting specimens and blood products.
