In the Baha’i faith, the Birth of the Baha’u’llah is one of nine holy days and the anniversary of the birth Baha’u’llah, the founder of the Baha’i faith. The day begins with prayers and devotional readings. It continues with a festive social gathering either at home or in a place of worship. In keeping with the essence of Bahá'í, the celebrations are open to all.
